It seems like as the end of each year approaches, we hear ourselves saying something along the lines of, “this year flew by” or “where did the time go.” While that may be the case, let’s not write 2017 off without taking a look back to appreciate what we have accomplished.
On the product side, we are always looking for ways to enhance the Rosnet experience for our clients and this year’s new features will continue that tradition.
A Couple New Features
Vendor Ordering
In August, we made direct to vendor ordering available to a handful of clients. In partership with a few mainline suppliers such and Sysco, US Foods and McLane, locations are now able to order directly from their order recommendation screen. This feature allows everything to done with a few clicks directly on your Rosnet site. We plan to get this rolled out to even more clients in 2018.
Ad-Hoc Reporting
We introduced Ad-Hoc Reporting to clients at our annual User Group Meeting in Orlando, Florida. The robust and responsive report generation tool was designed to save clients time and energy. With the Ad-Hoc reporting tool, clients can create custom reports and data extracts. For the first time, this new feature will allow clients to make new reports on their own.
Rosnet's dedication to our clients has been the cornerstone of our success over the years. This dedication is what continues to drive us forward and challenge the industry norms when it comes to service and product development. It means even more to us when our clients recognize how much we go above and beyond to make their lives easier.
This was truly eveident when we won the 2017 Vendor of the Year Award from Romulus Restaurant Group. Romulus is consistently ranked in the Franchisee Top 100 operating over 90 IHOP and Slim Chicken locations accross the country.
As our product continues to grow, so does our company. 2017 marks Rosnet’s third consecutive year on the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. We have added close to 600 new locations and 13 brand new restaurant concepts.
New locations and brands also leads to job growth. This year Rosnet participated in the Missouri Works program. Missouri Works was created to grow local companies to keep competitive jobs in Missouri. Rosnet has committed to bring an additional 50 jobs to Missouri over the next couple years. As a show of appreciation, Missouri Governor Eric Greitens paid the Rosnet offices a visit back in September.
Rosnet’s commitment to Missouri doesn’t stop at job growth. We were very involved in the local community in 2017 as well. Our outreach initiatives included donations to The Don Bosco Centers, Mattress Firm Foster Kids, Wayside Waifs, Victory Project, and Harvesters.
As you can see, 2017 was tremendous, but now it’s time to turn our sites to 2018. 2018 will mark Rosnet’s 20th year anniversary. From new product launches, job growth, and community involvement, Rosnet will remain an industry leading first-class organization. Cheers to 2017 and see you next year!
